Eduard Herrmann a Matěj Coufal

• Studio of talented designers who met during their studies at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague. In their first collaborative work, they agreed that the theme of their cooperation would be the everyday things of everyday life, with the slogan „Everything by what we surround us is important.“

• They are fascinated by the latest technologies and place an absolute emphasis on details, yet they admire the old crafts and nature. They prefer pure and minimalist shapes to which they add spices in their creations.

• Eduard Herrmann and Matěj Coufal are mainly dedicated to product design, and in addition to interior accessories, they like to present their ideas in improving urban and public spaces.

• Throughout their career they have already reached many achievements in the art field. Their studio has become Grand Designers and Designers of the Year at the Czech Grand Design 2020 Awards, they have also received awards at competitions such as the ELLE Decoration International Award, the BIG SEE Architecture Award or the Red Dot Award.
